“As a nation, we are on a perilous path, a very dangerous path, a path that is weakening the greatest country and greatest economy the world has ever known.  Entrepreneurial capitalism has generated unlimited opportunity in this country.  It has made possible the American dream of getting an education, having a good job, raising a family, and owning an affordable home.

But entrepreneurial capitalism, the backbone of our nation, has now been made the scapegoat for problems that were, in reality, caused by government mismanagement and excess.  This trend should be alarming to us all.”

Releasing his 2009 year-end financial disclosure report today, Republican small business entrepreneur Tim Bridgewater shows he’s well prepared to take on U.S. Senate incumbent Bob Bennett. With $286,000 cash on hand and a strong grassroots network throughout the state, Bridgewater is the candidate best positioned to mount a successful challenge to the 18-year incumbent.

“It takes financial resources to run a statewide campaign and to communicate effectively with the thousands of delegates and tens of thousands of primary voters,” Bridgewater says. “Special interest money from Washington will ensure that Bob Bennett is also well-funded, but we’ll have the grassroots network on our side.”
